I signed up for a my-space account, and I have come to notice that it is very time consuming. It is easy to spend hours just looking at friends and friends of friends ect. Its cool though.

Spammers are everywhere. They are becoming a plague, sort of like rodents. It sucks that we have to lock our sites down so much to keep people from putting ads on them. It meakes it take longer for anyone interested in actually posting a reply.
That sounds interesting, I'll have to check it out when I get time. I wonder if it supports the six degrees of seperation theory? It'd be interesting to find out.
Good point, Rob; I bet Myspace is involved in studies of social networking. I wonder if it's part of the work mentioned on Wikipedia...
