Hey, here is the assignment, so maybe it will help you with finding more stuff to add. I am having some problems too. Have you found readings for your concept? I have some ideas, but I'm not sure if I like them or not. Good luck. Feel free to look at my project and give me feedback too. I'd totally appreciate it. It's on the Wiki and my name is Julieann081.
ASSIGNMENT:
At the least, your project should answer the following questions and address the following items:
* Why is the concept you are interested in important for computers and writing?
* Name other meanings of the concept which operate in computers and writing. How do these meanings function?
* Discuss the relation of meanings commonly associated with computers and writing and those more often considered part of the culture at large.
* Name other concepts we've discussed this semester which are related. Why are they relevant?
* Identify and discuss specific computer technologies or digital media which show the operation(s) of the concept.
* Identify multiple potential readings from the web which a future class could use to discuss this concept. Why are they useful? What meanings or functions do they illustrate?
Model your work on mine: the key is considering your concept as one in the course. So you need to find web-presentable stuff that interrogates the meanings your concept generates. Google searches are your friend, as are library databases.
As Julie posted, in response to comments about the first assignment, I've provided more guidance about what I want. Do that. :)
